my itinerary

Dec. 22, '08 - back to cebu from manila...
Dec. 23-26, '08 - Christmas with my family
Dec. 27-31, '08 - i went to Escalante city, Negros Occidental to visit the parish
and the Carmel youth. i got sick on the 30th, so i got my ticket
way back to cebu on the 31st.
Dec. 31-Jan. 2 '09 - back again with my family
Jan. 2 -4 '09 - in Nasipit, Talamban, Cebu for the "Seminary Triennium 2009". It
was a gathering of all the seminarians in all formations, that
includes the College, the Postulancy(agusan), the Novitiate(Quezon
city), and the Student Friars where i belong(Quezon city)
jan 6-8, '09 - to bohol, to attend the 40th death aniversary of the sister of
Fr. Pete Manilag, our the college formator.
Jan. 16-19 - i will attend the sinulog festival..
Feb.2009 - i will be assigned in Ormoc for two months...
April 2009 - back to Manila...

wow !!!its seems na sobrang busy ka,glad you still have time write your relfection about life:Relgious life in particular and your experiences as seminarian...I am going back to Manila this coming May, perhaps I may see you and you will meet out new community...Anyway salamat sa pagbabahagi mo ng iyong reflection at buhay seminarista...I must say that I do agree with you that Life is not a bed of Roses; so kahit anu pa man ang bokasyong pinili mo- palaging may tinik---may sakit--hirap--challenges na siyang nagpapaganda sa pagsibol ng mga rosas... Ingats po...Enjoy the journey of serving and loving God through others....God bless us...

Well as one of the Carmel Youth,and a STC member.If i will describe this man,in one word,it will be "Buotan',super jud as in to tghe highest level..di na mabangbang,iya kabut an...Lapaw na gani sungay..hehehe,bitaw if youll just know this man,makasulti jud ka basta..asa mo,ana wafu na( oi,miguw iya atay)..Buotan pa.,

WHY US LORD?: A Reflection On The Typhoon Yolanda Calamity.

With the recent Yolanda typhoon calamity, one question stands out - "Why?" Why do we have to suffer like this? Why the death of my beloved ones? Why us Lord? Why…? Why…? Why…? I will not attempt to know how these victims of calamity formulated their questions because I was not there when the typhoon strike nor try to answer their question because I’m not God. I would rather see the process of communication between a God and His people. Pope Francis encouraged us to ask why to God. He simply explains how this question would draw God’s attention to his children. He likened the situation to a child asking his parents about almost anything with a “why”. The pope said "the child does not wait for an answer from his father or mother." rather the child will add-up more and will never stops asking and asking. This is one way of seeking attention from his/her parents – and with our brothers and sisters who were affected by the recent typhoon, an attention from God.

A New Open Space

i want to explore things in writing but then my old blog name "Seminary life," doesn't allow me to do such. Since i am a seminarian, it would be unthinkable if i write something that do favors about Atheism, or some critics about the dogma of the church or perhaps my appreciation about some concepts in communism and the like. I can actually write about it but amvibalence might dwell on the minds of te reader. I decided to change it. I was thinking then of a new name for my blog, and still would have a taste of the Carmelite tradition and Spirituality. I came up with the words "Open Space." And where did i get this name? I copied and pasted an article here and this explains what Open Space is for the Carmelites.
